A little context
About this site.
A personal collection of technology news, market updates, and podcast episodes. Fewer tabs. Better things to come back to.
01 / The project
A place for the good stuff
I’m Aaron. I built this to keep the things I follow in one place: a news feed, a market board, and a hand-picked listening list.
02 / The project
Built as I go
It’s also where I learn to build. Features get added, ideas get tested, and occasionally I remember to stop adjusting the spacing.
Under the hood
How it works
- Rendering
- Pages render on the server; interactive features run in the browser.
- Caching
- Feeds and quotes refresh on a schedule and are cached in Redis for quick page loads.
- Charts
- SVG trend lines and a hand-written canvas for the market ridge. No charting library.
- Fallbacks
- Quotes use a live API when configured, or end-of-day closes. The source is always labeled.
- Playback
- Playback positions stay in your browser. Queue and speed controls work without an account.

That is probably the most interesting conversation we could have. Any of the links above reaches me.
